Ed Deak is a Professor of Economics and Chair of the Department of Economics at Fairfield University. He is a Board Member and the Connecticut Forecast Manager for the New England Economic Partnership. Ed is also an economic advisor for People's United Bank. In 2007, Deak was named to the Governor's Economic Advisory Council by Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell. He has published numerous books and publications.
