Building Hope Foundation
The Building Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization established by the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County to invest funds, time and expertise donated by its members.
The mission of the Building Hope Foundation is to use the industry knowledge, resources and skills of HBRA members to benefit those in need in the Fairfield County community and to provide scholarship grants to eligible employees and dependents of employees of member firms.
The Building Hope Foundation is active in supporting charitable activities in Fairfield county communities and providing scholarships to eligible employees and dependants of employees of member firms. Past involvement has included participation in building handicap accessible ramps for clients of St. Vincent's Special Needs Center, donations to the EJ's House construction project in Ridgefield, the Exteme Makeover: Home Edition project in Bridgeport, Habitat for Humanity, the Marine Corps League and the Girls Scouts Cookies for the Troops program. Each year the Building Hope Foundation conducts a scholarship competition. The Building Hope Foundation recognizes HBRA members who are involved in community and charitable projects by awarding the prestigious Building Hope Foundation Philanthropist of the Year Award (builder), Philanthropist of the Year Award (associate) & the Building Hope Foundation Care awards at the annual HBRA gala.
